“Hey there conscious consumer!”
We have nearly exhausted another decade and the hot topic is still ‘natural,’ and ‘sustainable,’ products. With climate concerns hot on our heels and education ever-increasing about the health impacts of external beauty, it is important to up your conscious skincare game thanks to our range of products and steps towards sustainable packaging.
Quite Frankly Natural has revolutionised natural skincare. We invested early in eco-friendly and powerful ingredients.
The best part? Sustainability can be luxurious too.
Let’s talk about how.
The conscious consumer…
Conscious consumerism is the practice of using your purchasing power to understand the social, economic and environmental consequences of what you buy: from skincare to makeup and every luxury in between.
Conscious consumers can feel comfortable knowing that their bathroom routines are now also demonstrating a powerful change in behaviour and are boosting the ability to be an agent of social change with Quite Frankly Natural by their side.
- For the environmentally-conscious consumer. Vegan and Cruelty-free. We understand that veganism and avoiding animal cruelty is more than just a diet, it’s a lifestyle. That’s why we are here to assure that our ingredients list is completely free of animal by-products and use plant-based ingredients. There is strictly no animal testing by a supplier, manufacturer or producer.
- For the health-conscious consumer. Organic. It’s okay honeys! You can sleep tight tonight knowing that there are NO parabens, toxins or nasties in any of our formulations.
- For the socially-conscious consumer. Australian-made. It pays to buy local. Not only are you supporting the local economy and small businesses, but we all know that Australian products (like us) have a reputation for producing some of the most superior quality products in the world.
Introducing our new favourite sustainable weapon! Sendle.
Our packaging is also thoughtful in considering the reduction of environmental impact.
Sendle are Australia’s first 100% carbon neutral delivery service.
In addition, we are excited to see that our favourite courier is now the first in Australia to use 100% biodegradable, compostable satchels.
Made from 100% biodegradable and compostable materials, these babies are good enough to eat – literally – featuring corn starch, PLA (from corn) and PBAT (Polybutyrate Adipate Terephthalate).
And best of all, we can feed the environment too. Once you have finished with your compostable satchel, simply remove the label and place the satchel in with your food scraps or green waste to commence the breakdown of the product. Food for worms; within 90 days in a regular composting process you will see the packaging biodegrade.
These clever satchels have passed Australia’s stringent AS5810 certified home compostable requirements, which includes a worm toxicity test, so they’re even worm farm friendly.
All of our online customer orders are now shipped in recycled cartons, cushioned in sustainable wood wool shreds and placed inside a compostable satchel! … how GREAT is that!
Sincerely,
QFN team (conscious consumers) x
